Dan is a Petaluma native whose connection with art started at an early age. Excelling in art class and late getting into trouble for graffiti as a teen, his need to create has always been present. After graduating from San Francisco’s Academy of Arts, he worked in video game design and development, quickly realizing that the corporate world was not a good fit. In 2006, with the help and support of a few good friends as well as his father, who became his first living canvases, he began tattooing.

His friendly demeanor, ability to make deep personal connections, and raw natural talent helped kickstart his new career as a tattooer. He worked at another local shop where he continued to refine his artistic skills and develop his own personal style until he joined the crew at Electric Oni in 2015.

Bringing an artistic approach to everything in life has served him well and clearly shows in his beautiful home and sweet hot rods (1929 Chevy ratrod & 1940 Pontiac hotrod). When he’s not tattooing, you will most likely find him cruising with his wife Anna, hanging out with their two dogs, chilling at the beach, or hopping on a plane for a faraway adventure.
