Mark was born and raised in Northern California's sunny Sonoma County, always enjoying art class a little more than the rest of school. As an adult, his love of punk rock, as well as good times, has taken him from couch surfing in Santa Cruz while working three jobs and playing bass in a band to backpacking across Europe. Riding choppers up and down California's scenic highways, collecting tattoos, and making friends everywhere he goes, making sure to experience everything life has to offer.

In 2006, he began getting tattooed at the Oni and just never left. Working his way up from a positive vibes technician to a shop helper, eventually leveraging that position into an apprenticeship by making himself a key part of day-to-day operations. While working for his family's company (Ferris Electric) as a licensed electrician, his need to make more art couldn't be suppressed any longer, and he made the transition to tattooing full time.

Loving all things tattoo, traditional Americana designs are his main source of inspiration, mixing in classic tiki motifs and Native American themes. If you want a sweet tattoo served up with a side of good times, Tiki Mark is always down to trade stories and bring your ideas to life.
